Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure the appointment. This fee will be applied toward the total balance.
  • The balance must be paid in full 10 days before the event via EFT.

Changes & Additions

  • Changes to the booking (such as adding extra people for hair and/or makeup) can be made up until two months before the event.
  • Any additional services requested after this time are subject to availability and additional charges.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • The booking fee is non-refundable.
  • If It's Beauty by Shana needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of the booking fee will be provided, or an alternative artist may be arranged with client approval.
  • If the event is rescheduled, the new date is subject to availability, and an additional fee may apply.

Delays & Timing

  • The client is responsible for ensuring all parties receiving services are on time and ready for their scheduled appointments.
  • Any delays caused by the client or their party may result in incomplete services or additional fees.
  • If the artist is unable to complete services due to client delays, no refunds will be issued.

Liability

  • It’s Beauty by Shana is not responsible for any allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, or other issues resulting from the use of makeup or hair products. It is the client’s responsibility to inform the artist of any known allergies.
  • The artist will use industry-standard hygiene practices and high-quality products to ensure the best experience for the client.
  • The client agrees to inform the artist of any skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities before services begin.

Photography & Promotion

  • The artist may take before and after photos of the client and bridal party for promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
  • Photos and videos taken by It's Beauty by Shana may be used on social media, websites, and marketing materials.

Client Responsibilities

  • The client must ensure a clean and well-lit workspace for the artist.
  • Access to electricity, a chair, and a table must be provided.
  • The client must arrive with a clean, makeup-free face and dry hair unless otherwise instructed.

Force Majeure

  • If the client is unable to proceed with the event due to force majeure, an attempt to reschedule will be made, subject to availability.

Agreement

  • By paying the booking fee upon receiving this invoice, you agree to all the terms & conditions outlined above.
